Tecnotree wins an IVR consolidation contract from a tier-1 operator in Eastern Europe

Espoo, Finland – Tecnotree has won a contract for an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) consolidation project from a tier-1 operator in Eastern Europe. Tecnotree will replace existing systems with a modern Tecnotree Agility^TM Telecom and Media Server solution.

The new platform contains a Specialised Resource Function (SRF) to provide interaction in connection with the operator’s Intelligent Network (IN) services such as prepaid charging. In the future, the platform can be used also for various voice applications as well as a service mediation function towards the convergent charging and billing system.

The operator will benefit from reduced operational and maintenance costs. In the long term, the platform enables further consolidation and launch of new revenue generating applications and services. This is an important achievement since Tecnotree is expanding its solution footprint in Europe towards broader business IT solutions, in line with the new Tecnotree strategy communicated in 2011.
