Tecnotree receives an order to upgrade billing and customer self-care solutions for an operator in Africa

Tecnotree has received a purchase order from a leading multi-national telecommunications group in Africa to supply an upgrade to Tecnotree Agility^TM Convergent Billing and Customer Care solutions to one of the group’s country operations. Tecnotree solutions are being deployed as functional enhancements to existing systems and will provide convergent billing and a self-care portal to all prepaid and postpaid mobile, fixed line, WiMAX and ISP customers. The order is valued at USD 1.9 million.

Subscribers will greatly benefit from the convergent solution as it enables the operator to flexibly bundle and offer services across business lines and bill them in a single bill. As the competition is intensifying these improvements are strategically important and they give the operator more competitive edge. Also, there is an opportunity to have a positive impact on the operator brand image and enable new streams of revenue.
